Diezel did well. He was in pain for the first day and night then he bounced back to his normal self. He gets hooked up this Wednesday. I am excited. The first implant he received was the nucleus freedom. You can feel it on his head. It protrudes a little. This new one even with a little swelling you can not feel it at all. He received the nucleus 5. I like that it is not noticeable from site or touch. Well I hope he does well at his hook up.Monday, November 2, 2009
Surgery is over

Glad things went well! Are they giving you a Nucleus 5 for both ears? That sure would be nice! That's a quick turn on too. We had to wait over a month before they'd activate.
